What are the long term effects of planning? How do children learn from planning? How can it effect their whole development? Where do childrens rights fit into this? How can it affect the welfare of children?

How do I start planning a road trip? (not planing the route, planning other things)?

Rachel asked:

I and my two friends are planning on taking a road trip from Louisiana to Los Angeles when we graduate High School. We won’t be going for a couple of years yet, but we’d like to get some plans down soon, that way we have something to look forward to and something to present to our parents when we ask permission to go.

We’ve kinda got our route figured out, we know what we want to see, but we don’t know what else there is to be done in terms of planning (though we’re sure there’s lots more).

Are there any books about road trips and how to plan them? Online checklists? Anything?

We’re also open to any money-saving suggestions (or any kind of suggestions, really) any one has to offer, we know it’s going to be pricey…

I’m planning a dinner party for three friends and myself…usually I do pasta dishes, but this time I think I’m making a (vegetarian) risotto milanese. I just don’t know what else to make to go with it – I’m thinking some kind of salad, but also that there should be something -else-. Any suggestions?

I am trying to get my self ready for the Marines. I have asthma but its not that kind of asthma where I need to carry an inhaler around everywhere I go. My last attack was about 3 weeks ago but before that my last attack was 2 or 3 YEARS ago! So my asthma isn’t that serious anymore. Anyways back to subject, im planning to get a working out and a health plan. Any future suggestions?

Planning my honeymoon and we are leaning towards a Mediterranean cruise in August, any experience?

Our original plan was to just go to Italy, which we ended up deciding may be too expensive once the planning got underway so we started looking at cruises. While researching cruises the other night, came across a few different options for a Mediterranean cruise – each starting and ending in Rome (kinda killing two birds with one stone I guess). Has anyone taken a similar cruise before and what was your experience?

How much lesson planning do high school teachers do?

David asked:

I plan on teaching math next year, and my girlfriend (an elementary education major) tells me that I will need to spend hours planning each step of my lessons. As a business major, I wonder why not just buy a book with lesson plans already written (rather than reinventing the peel year after year) and adapting it if I need to.

Is this allowed? Are high school math teachers to produce original lesson plans? Why? Especially since math doesn’t exactly change much year to year, so, why write lesson plans instead of buying them?

enigma84007 asked:

I am wondering on what exactly strategic planning is and how it works. I heard that it is used in business, but can it be used in other areas as well? For example, can it be used in planning out ones career goals in life? Is it also valid and effective? Does anyone recommend using it when planning out career goals in life in order to prevent a career crisis?
