Best way to motivate self for better grades?

Vicks asked:

So it’s my final year at school, and time’s running out. 3 months until my exams and approaching closer by the day.

I’ve tried numerous ways to motivate myself – made a list of all the scores i’m aiming for, made study planners, set dates for what has to be achieved… while it all looks great on paper, I JUST CAN’T STUDY!

I might sit there for 2 hours attempting to work on an essay, but spend 1h30m of it on other websites instead. Or when I try to do my maths, i’d go procrastinate and treadmill or something. It’s just so frustrating because this end of year score is so important, it determines which university and course I get into. I know that I’ll end up regretting it if I don’t achieve scores up to standard.

Any suggestions as to how to approach my problem?
EDIT: Ok, I think i’ll go lock myself in some desolate room and not take my phone and mp3…hopefully i’d be able to concentrate :’D

    GET OFF THE PC>
ask someone to take the keyboard or a vital part of the pc away so you can not use it. i did this around my exams,
you will be fustrated at first then after about what feels like an age (usually 1 hour) you are able to focus for the rest of the day. wonderboy
