Not your average Disneyland tips?

Next month I will be spending 5 days at Disneyland with my boyfriend. I am an avid list maker and planner so I’m looking for some tried and true tips on the park itself and what to pack.
I haven’t been since I was 11 (21 now) so I don’t remember much. We will be flying in and staying at the Paradise Pier. Budget isn’t much of a problem so any tips on where to eat too (we are already planning to go to Blue Bayou as our big special meal).
