is there a phone with a day planner in it that is not a blackberry ?
i really need a planner and im sick of using my calender in my reguler phone cause it makes it difficult to put everything in order. i dont have enough money to pay for internet in a blackberry though so i was hoping there was a phone with a planner in it without internet ?

Need an application for my T-Mobile My Touch 3G phone?
I am looking for an application for my new phone that is a day planner/calendar/organizer, etc. to keep track of appointments, daily reminders, etc. Anybody have any suggestions as to which ones are good for this type of thing?

I can’t figure it out based on the website. And the Lotus is the exact phone that im looking for (except it’s not on my plan). Do you know if Verizon is planning on coming out with one anytime soon?

I want things that will help me manage my time and keep track of everything that’s important to me. What functions does the iPhone offer that will help me?

Does this cell phone and plan exist?
I need a cell phone with a full keyboard and a good calendar (for appointments, reminders, repeating events). I do not need or want a data plan! Phone calls, texting, day planner- that is all I want.
We have had Palm treo and centro before, but they are becoming obsolete, and I was not happy with the centro. I like their calendar and their keyboard. I like the blackberry keyboard and calendar as well, but (as far as I can tell) one has no choice but to spend extra on a data plan.
Does this exist? Or should I just get a plain texting phone and a paper calendar for my appointments?
We are currently with verizon, but we have no problem changing to another server.

Samsung Upstage goes straight to voicemail?
I have a Samsung Upstage that is garbage. This is the refurbished phone the company gave me after my other one stopped working even before I had it a year.
The other day I set an alarm in the planner and when it went off the alarm was stuck on. I had to turn the phone off completely to get it to stop. Now all my calls go directly to voicemail. I turned the phone off again and it worked for about an hour and calls were coming through but now it is going right back to voicemail.
Is there anyway to fix this myself? I really do not want to have to go through the process of being without a phone while they send me another refurbished piece of crap.

i’m looking for the ideal cell phone?
the main things i need in a cell phone are:
- a reminder function (organizer; list manager; daily planner)
- alarm clock (should be loud enough)
- i prefer my phones as monoblocks; but i can accept slide phones if it is not too bulky to fit into my pocket
- and of course it has to look good
secondary features:
phones may or may not include the following:
- speakerphone
- mp3 player
- recorder
- camera
basically i’m looking for a sturdy phone that has the primary functions i listed above, but since most of the good-looking phones these days have cameras, i’ll take camera and music phones into consideration as well.

Best smartphone on cingular service?
Had an HP iPAQ PDA=non-user friendly- outlook wouldnt work w/it. I guess smartphone= way to go?
My criteria:
1. I process things visually, so I need to be able to see a full day view, week view, month view.
2. I have many things going on so id like alarm-reminders or free text reminders
3. cut & pasting for emails & tasks that dont get finished
4. cell phone w/current contract transferable, good reception
5. digital camera- good resolution
6. personal planner/organizer/contacts (transfer SIM card?)- bday reminders
7. music/movies- bonus
8. RELIABLE! no bugs, wont fail, good memory
9. great customer service since Im not tech savvy
10. planner should link to my cpu so I can print things 4 backup
11. wireless w/good speed/mozilla thunderbird is email for my work- access to this/VPN would help TONS.
12. when receive text, I dont need to exit net browser to view it or when receive call- doesnt erase text I was in the middle of
13. handwriting recognition, ez dialin
14. battery life

I’m leaping into the millenium.and getting a darn cell phone?
I’m very new to cell phones…I never wanted one until now…I just think that one would make my life a lot easier! But I have NO idea where to get one..and what to get. I am thinking about Cingular because that’s what my family uses and I think it’s free calling. I don’t want a plan that’s more than $40 a month…and I will only use it a few times a day…not a big phone chatter!
What do you suggest?
Oh and I have a little girl so one with a camera would be nice! And one that has a planner…where I can put in apointments and dates
