How can I make my plain, black day planner look more appealing?

I brought my pretty planner, then I brought a school one because of the dates and events listed. Now I have two,but I don’t want either to go to waste because it is all for this year. (does it help if I say its for college?) And plz don’t give me answer like, just do wat u want with it or trash it.
