Planning on having a party at my house, and wanted to know the best ways to entertain Thanks?
Hi me and my friend are planning on having a conjoint birthday at either of our houses with about 38 kids. We would not have a DJ but are looking for a way to entertain. Any good suggestions are welcome

Need help planning a princess(not disney) b-day party for my 3 yr old? Suggest, ideas, please help?
I am planning to have a Princess Breelyn b-day party for my daughter. She will be turning 3 in Nov. I dont want it to be the theme of the Disney Princess. I want it to me more focused on my daughter. (Like Princess Breelyn, thats her name of course). Any suggestions or ideas would be great. I plan to make a castle cake and possible do the entrance to the party like a castle, (but how?) And how do I make the house look like a castle? Of course I dont mean the whole house, Just maybe the room the party will be in! I am going to dress her in a beautiful dress & have her wear a crown. But what else!!? I need more ideas!! I think I have the invation wording figured out. I am planning on playing pass the tiara (like hot potato) & playing pin the crown on the princess. (Like pin the tail on the donkey) But I want more, what about food, a few more games, decorations to make it look like a castle, favors, etc
I would really like some food ideas as well!

My mom left to run some errands and will be back in about 25 minutes i wanted to plan a mother’s day party how do i do it with little decorations. ps we are doing the mother’s day stuff today. tomorrow is real busy day.

AND ( to add to the to do list, along with packing AND cleaning my room[should be considered a Fed. emergancy]…) I have to confirm a whole SLEW of reservations, tickets, and such for my dads job conference in Baltimore(hey week off school? I’LL TAKE IT since we didn’t get to go last year to Long beach[mom was hospitalized w/ gallbladder probs.]).
Date/time/where: Aug 22nd 2009, held at a fancy Italian restaurant, about 6:30/7ish.
I have done NOTHING. No dress, no invites out, NOTHING(well made a b-day wish list and found a restaurant. Does that count?). I’ve been so busy with running errands with my mom to help her preschool, keeping my bi-polar disorder in check and staying on top all of my AP high school classes. And i will be able to do NOTHING this weekend(maybe reserve the restaurant IF I get a signal with my phone) as I am going on a church youth retreat with people whom I really don’t get along with. I’ll be in the middle of no where in the state park far in southern part of the county(in West TN).
WHERE did the time go?!
HELP!
PS: No $$$ for a party planner.

Birthday party ideas to make everyone’s birthday memorable?
My birthday is feb 17th… I’ll be 20 (I feel soooo old hitting the 2-0!)
My roommate (male) has his 21st on feb 14th
And another friend (female) has her 22nd on the 20th..
so we’re all within a week of eachother.
We live in ontario so it’s going to be snowy, and cold… drinking age is 19 so we’re all legal… we’re in london, so it’s a city but not huge
We’ll likely have some sort of house party, since we’ve gotten VIP and bottle service and clubs before and never had very good service even though we’ve paid hundreds of dollars… just wasn’t worth it..
Is their any way to make a party for the 3 of us really memorable and sensational? Our limit is about 1000 (but preferably less), or any ideas of something else we could do to make it really good?
And NO SPA DAYYYY because of the guy and i know everyone says spa day… I’m not into things like that…
I’ll likely be taking charge because i’m the planner of the group…

Oh, and i really don’t want a HUGE mess as our house isn’t that big (we’ve had parties before) and it will likely be all people we know, so i’ll estimate 50 people.
My roommate is a chef.. basically my PERSONAL chef.. so i think i have that covered, haha

I’m throwing my husband a SURPRISE 30th birthday Party! I need help with decorating and a color scheme?
Hi Everyone! Well in a few weeks I am throwing my husband a SURPRISE 30th Birthday Party! I have rented out a room at a local restaurant that is beautiful.
The party planner for the restaurant said I can come in and decorate the day of the party. Well I’m really excited, and I really want to decorate. Now, I don’t want to be too tacky and I want to be classy yet fun and not overwhelming. My husband doesn’t really have a favorite color. He wears a lot of blues, whites, greens, and reds and occasionally in the summers he’ll wear light blue and pale yellow. He always wears khaki pants/shorts so I don’t really know his favorite color. He always says “I don’t really have one.”
So I can’t use his favorite color as a color theme to decorate because he doesn’t have one. I have to go off what colors men use most and possibly matching up with the restaurant’s themes? So what should I use to decorate, balloons, what else?
Now he is Latino (From Mexico to be exact) and there will be an awesome blend of people there. We’ll have about 30-40 people there and about 1/2 Latinos and the other 1/2 Americans (Non Latinos), so maybe that could help with a color scheme or something?
Also I will post some pictures of the room I’m renting to help maybe pick a good color scheme.

since it will be only my cousin and me this year for my birthday party (basically she’s my only friend) I don’t want a party at my house.
