Rubym asked:

Sunday in southern Illinois, near St. Louis, there was a traguc event, an obviously mentally ill man walked into a church and killed the pastor and wounded 2 others before he was taken down by church members. He is alive and went to jail.

The twist on this one is his defense attorney and family claim he contracted Lyme disease from a tick bite and this caused neurological damage which led to violent outbursts. He also wrote down in a day planner “death day” and apparently had enough ammuntion to kill up to 30 (Miraculously, in Church, no less) the gun jammed and he only fired 4 times.

But does anybody know if Lyme disease could cause erratic behavior and even violence? I only know about arthritic type symptoms.
