My “business” (it’s for school) pairs customers with a wedding planner and it also has a collection of dresses, cakes, decor, cards and much more to choose from.

What should the name of it be? I was thinking of like “……Wedding Day Planners”

I want something CREATIVE, FUN AND FANCY. :) Thanks!!

On how I can advertise or what your opinion is on what you would like for your children to have provided in their day care center. I’m planning on opening it in California, in a couple of years.
please email me, if you have any ideas.

This whole event planning industry has me curious about it. How good is the market for event planning? I know that the startup costs are minimal, so its pretty easy to have event planners everywhere…but how can one figure out if there is even a market for it in the area they live?

If you had a Funeral Planner available to you, would you use their services?

I’m a funeral planner and I’m wondering if more people knew of my services if they’d use them. I find most people have a hard time thinking, let alone planning for their funeral. I usually target older clients, but would younger people be interested in having someone do the legwork and put together a full design plan?
No offense taken, but a Funeral Planner picks up where a Funeral Director leaves off. I don’t want to do the job of the funeral director. My job is to help clients select the best funeral home for their needs then to plan the reception, memorial, party or parade etc. that the client wants to incorporate into their service. In my experience, many people want to get away from the funeral home setting and do something of more meaning to their life.
I’m intrigued that you do as much as you to for your clients as well. In my experience not many funeral homes take it upon themselves to do so much.

What’s a good gift to get an aspiring wedding planner?

What’s a good gift to get an aspiring wedding planner? My best friend is obsessed with weddings. She’s wanted to be a wedding planner for years. What would be a good gift to get her? I thought about getting her a subscription to a wedding magazine but I’d rather get her something that will be useful to her for years to come and not just now. Plus she’s still in school full time so she won’t be doing a ton of wedding planning as of yet.

I am interested in networking with wedding planners in the area. I would like to do it by email. What are the things that I should bring up? Should I make it short and sweet? I was thinking about making a deal with them. Pictures of the wedding and $200 off the wedding package for the bride if she was referred by that particular wedding planner. Please give me ideas!!
