How do you become a CFP (certified financial planner)?

I am going to become a CPA. But, I also want to be a CFP. Do I just need to take a couple of finance classes to become a CFP after I get my CPA?

I want to start a CPA/CFP firm some day. That’s my goal. And, I want to do both.

See the application process from the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards – they award the CFP designation. According to them, the CPA degree would qualify for the educational portion of the eligiblity requirement.
