    Microsoft works is good… usually comes with the computer.

    This is free and I like it a lot better than Microsoft Office, and I have Microsoft Office Ultimate.

    Open office is nicer and more intuitive in many ways and I really like it.

    No doubt there are free templates for the sort of planner you want.
