No, it isn&#039;t a faux pas as long as the monogram is only used on wedding-related items such as invitations, linens, etc. Other than the invitation, the items are not revealed until after the wedding ceremony anyway. Your wedding planner must be young and not referring to Emily Post&#039;s or Amy Vanderbilt&#039;s books on etiquette.

Be sure that whomever is doing your monogramming knows the proper way to display....for Michelle and Brian Smith, the monogram would be B...S...M.

I would not recommend the monogram being displayed on the website for the above reasons.....items revealed AFTER the wedding other than the invitation.
