Planning a day trip for my friend going in the Army?
فلسطين asked:
My best friend is in the Army and she’s leaving on Tuesday. I want to take her out for a fun, relaxing day. Have any ideas on what we should do?

Start the day off by buying her breakfast or sneaking into her house and making her some in bed. Then take her out and do something fun: see a movie, go downtown and shop, go to the mall, hang at the beach, walk, take a hike, etc. It all depends on where you live and what you like to do together. Buy her some lunch, continue doing what you want. Then top it off with a nice home made meal or going to a nice restaurant. (You could also cut down on the cost by making all 3 meals, pack a picnic, etc.) Just have fun together! (I dunno, but I’ve heard spas are relaxing.) LostLeif
I’d like to mount a campaign to encourage people not to go anywhere. Travel has become so expensive and unpleasant that it’s hard to understand why people don’t stay home.
Why are we crowding our highways and airports to get someplace else? Newspapers and magazines are filled with ads trying to get us to travel. They want us to go somewhere – anywhere but home. idahotaz
