How do I become an event planer?
I have been traped in a job i hate with the goverment for the last 7 years. My dream is to be an event planner. Does anyone know how one would get started in that line of work?

Can anyone recommend a good hand held power planer?
I am using an antique now that probably won’t last for the whole job. I like the one I have, but the replacement blade is $110 and 2 hrs away. I like the type with a rotating blade.

-something in the advertising or maketing field

I do NOT want to do nursing or anything where i deal with blood or shots.
I like to travel.
I’m creative and like finding new ways to handle problems.
Money is pretty important to me because i want to have a family so i want to make at least $50,000.
I HATE HATE HATE math
I’m really social.
I hate doing the same thing every day.
Based on these things, do you have any idea of what you think would be a good career fit for me?

Should I call it quits?
Ok im a 23yr old female, dating a 25yr old man with a 2yr old child. We have been together for 4 months. Recently he started acting strange and kind of blowin me off, he insists he is not, he does not have a job right now (i do) through out the day i will text him and ask him how is day is, or what he’s up to, he barely ever responds now, or will respond with i’ll talk to you later. He used to text msg me all the time, and i used to talk to him on my lunch hour. We went from seeing each other quite a bit to now MAYBE once in 2 weeks time. I asked him a month ago if he was open to go to this wedding with me this month, he said yes. Now he’s “not sure” because he’s not a “planner”. I asked him if he was seeing somebody else because I keep catching him in lil lies that don’t really add up. But he always insists hes not and says i have to “trust him” I attempted to talk to him about it ,replied”we dont do much and ya know i have a kid”..im confused cuz its never been a issue with me. HELP!

Fun activities to do ?
Ok so this may sound stupid xD
so we (a group of my class we’re all majoring in Egyptology) are going to the Cairo museum tomorrow!!! I’ve been there tons of times but some of them will be seeing it for the first time. so I was kind of day-dreaming about how it would probably go and i thought … wow we have like no plans whatsoever ! we have studied quite a number of the museum’s statues , paintings etc.. when i went there with just 2 of my friends (different major) I was like able to guide them to the pieces we were seeing , but with so many people ( about 7) I dont think thats possible xD . what should we do? I’m not a good planner but this job is kind of stuck to my face and if the day turns out to be a failure ill be blamed :< . help!! creative people!! xD what should we doooo? :D

Party Playlist?
I am the party planner for my homeroom (everyone got to choose their job) and on Thursday, we are having a Valentine’s Day party. I wanted to make a playlist of music that most people would enjoy, but I don’t know what people like? So, if you could either:
1. Tell me your absolute favorite song
or,
2. Give me a list of really popular songs, that get lots of airplay.
Mostly Hip-Hop/Rap, because that’s what alot of the students like.

when you have a book in front of you. say a real estate dictionary book?
and you think you can do the job just by having that by your side..
+ a day step by step planner.. does this inable me to skip the memorization of everything in the real estate dictionary?
Also, i know some of whats in the book.. it just takes a glance at the word.. to really bring stuff back… how much more do i need to memorize?
I guess i’m asking will i need to have that info in my head, and ready at all times or can i keep my “notes to self” and my step by step guides.. lol

yes, in a way that is what i was asking. I was asking if you thought my method would work.
My method of course emcompasses having a realestate dictionary at my side most of the day, but i would only have to glance at the words mainly that were associated with the specific topic i was searching for.
note: A = word
so if i see (B) words that are related to say _A_. and i dont even read definitions for (B).. i can remember what A means.

Does anybody work for a government or private planning department?
I am taking a test to get into a County Planner Trainee job and I need to know what I should study for???? I have a degree in Business Admin., so I really don’t know what to expect on this test. I called the HR dept. but they haven’t gotten back to me yet and the test is in 3 days. Anybody know how I should study for this?
