UCSD Schedule Help?
I’m working with the class planner online and I signed up for a Math class. I’m a freshman and I’m pretty much clueless with this whole college thing so… could someone please clear this up for me?
The class says it meets up:
# MWF 2:00 PM–2:50 PM
# W 5:00 PM–5:50 PM
So what does that mean? We meet up TWICE on Wednesday? Or that he gives the same lecture twice that day? I don’t understand that. HELP. And yes, I do know the difference between a Discussion class and a Lecture class. It says that the two classes on Wednesday are both Lecture. Our discussion class is on a different day.

What did the other sections look like? If there were a lot with MWF 2-2:50, with different times for the extra hour, then it is a discussion, even if it is labeled as a lecture.
If not, then it is indeed another hour of lecture. Squeezing 4 hours of lecture into three days. I have had classes with funky times, like 10 am TWR and 7pm M.
It’s not going to be the same lecture! It could be just another lecture, or it could be a question and answer time. You will find all the answers on the first day of class.
